Sea angling at Baltimore, Ireland

Sea angling in Ireland

For sea anglers the clear waters and rugged coastline of Ireland are an invitation almost impossible to resist.

Baltimore is a fishing village and sea angling centre in Co Cork, right in the middle of Ireland's legendary south west coast, a region steeped in sea angling history thanks to its favourable geography and nearness to the Gulf Stream.

Fishing like this is just a memory in so many other places. Wreck fishing, shark fishing and common skate fishing are three highlights, but most of the other popular sea angling species of Britain and Ireland are found here, too. Plus a number of less familiar visitors from farther south, courtesy of the warm ocean current.

Rooster is a fast modern sea angling boat, purpose-built for these waters and skippered by someone who has been in the job for 30 years. Equipped to the highest standard, Rooster offers seaworthiness and safety, combined with the speed to get to and from the fishing grounds in the minimum of time.
